In my livingroom I have two big boxes filled with old patterns, all hand drawn by a Swedish tailor. I do not know who.
The boxes is a gift from Swedish designer and stylist Camilla Thulin– I am so grateful!
The most interesting thing about the boxes are four thick books. I found them in the bottom, carefully wrapped in paper with a string tied around. The books are filled with drawings on models of dresses and skirts and jackets. All from the 1940’s. To me this is too good to be true!
I actually have a piece of Swedish fashion history in my livingroom. Of course I have to try to find out who the tailor is!
