After two hours shopping with my daughters I am suffering from a LQS depression, that is a Low Quality Shopping depression which has occured after visiting shops such as H&M, Cubus, Kappahl and Lindex. The items found all look the same: Soft, stretchy, simple and quickly sewn by some poor workers in India or Pakistan.
The LQS depression hits me hard and makes me so sad. Do the companies think we are babies in need of pyjamases? And the prices!? It should be impossible to make clothes so cheap!
Thank God for all the flee markets, second hand- and vintage shops.
Look what I found at the Red Cross in Strömsund in Jämtland and do notice the stitches in the collar! Who would have the time and energy to do that today?
And look what I found in the tiny village Hallviken, also in Jämtland:
Please, think twice before you buy garbage, otherwise you might end up with a LQS depression and also give the textile industries money and arguments to continue using people as slaves.
